Edison high hosts marching band review

Edison High School will host its annual marching band review at 7 p.m. Saturday at the high school stadium.

This year's band line-up includes: South Central, Buckeye Central, Norwalk, Open Door, New London, Bucyrus, Willard, Edison Alumni Band and Edison High School.

Tickets are $5, students and seniors $4. Tickets can be purchased at the gate starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The band is also hosting a canned food drive for the show. Anyone who brings five canned food items wil get one free ticket to the show.

Dick Goddard from Fox 8 Cleveland will serve as the master of ceremonies for the evening. All proceeds go to Edison Music Department for instruments and music purchases.



Sounds like a fun night!


Back in the '90's I went and watched my team play the Bellevue Redmen. Their band was the best I've ever seen, hands down. Those kids with all the high stepping and excellent music playing skills made the football games look like secondary entertainment.
