Erie County has been awarded $74,878 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the area.
A local board made up of representatives of the Erie County Commissioners, American Red Cross, United Way, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, church organizations and the homeless will decide how to distribute the funds among local emergency food and shelter programs.
