MILAN

The Rev. James A. Walsh was remembered as a man who loved to ride his motor scooter around town, an avid sports fan and a frequent traveler.

Walsh, pastor of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Milan from 1985 until 2004, died Sunday at the Rosary Care Center in Sylvania after a short illness. He was 81.

Funeral services are Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 781 S. Main St., Lima. A visitation is scheduled from 5-8:30 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Milan.
