Deputies: '16 and Pregnant' star charged with underage drinking

A former MTV star celebrated her 19th birthday at Kalahari Resorts with an amateur cage-fighter, an extremely intoxicated best friend and a few Erie County deputies.

Michigan resident Nikkole Paulun, 19 — a former reality TV star featured in past episodes of the MTV show “16 and Pregnant” — was charged Sunday morning with underage consumption.

Thomas Fudoli, 21, of Carleton, Mich., was charged with providing alcohol to persons under 21.

Samantha Diggs, 18, of South Rockwood, Mich., was charged with underage consumption, menacing and persistent disorderly conduct intoxicated.

Erie County deputies headed to Kalahari Resort at about 12:30 a.m. after receiving a report of an underage drinking party. When they arrived, a security guard told them the problem was a group of intoxicated television stars.

“We were further advised that the guests were from the television show ‘16 and Pregnant,’” a deputy’s report said.

Paulun was featured in the show’s second season, while her friend, Diggs, was featured in a few episodes.

Following Sunday’s run-in with Erie County deputies, Paulun turned to her Twitter page to tweet about the charges.

“So far worst birthday of my entire life,” she wrote. “Like dude Sam is in jail.”

And: “Well, we got in trouble for being loud and she went psycho and hit a cop.”

And: “Goodbye life.”

When did we as a society sink so low as to label 16 year old girls that are so stupid they have the misfortune to get pregnant before graduating "Stars"? Anyone else want to debate the decline of our society? HA!

deertracker

It's not a misfortune, it's intentional and so sad it is now celebrated by society.

Randy_Marsh

If it is done intentionally then it is a double misfortune for the child involved. It is sad what our society has become.

Anyone who watches reality TV has to be as ignorant as a sack of hammers. It's NOT "real" if a camera is on you and you play to it.

Ms.Psych101

There are many people who watch reality television, and have for years, it does not make those of US that do watch it ignorant. Reality television is for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY, and I can guarantee that at least 90% of reality television viewers understand that, and watch it with the intention of being entertained, with no ignorance involved. As for you I bet you partake in watching American Idol, X-Factor, America's Got Talent, or any other type of those shows, so does that mean that you are ignorant as well? Because those types of shows are "reality" television as well. ;-)

luvblues2

I don't watch much TV at all, Ms.Psych101. Some news and history type things, but NOT ONE of the things you named. Don't bet the farm on what you think I watch. Also, I don't watch anything that has an audience or laugh track.

Ms.Psych101

luvblues2, that is all well and good that YOU do not watch much television, however, that does not mean that YOU are any MORE intelligent, or any LESS ignorant than others who do choose to watch reality television OR any other type of television for that matter. The point that I was making is that, NO, not ALL people who choose to watch reality television are unintelligent nor are they ignorant. I am quite sure that there are MANY well educated, smart, individuals that find it ENTERTAINING to partake in watching reality television, just for the pure laughter of it. Quite frankly YOUR generalization was an ignorant statement. ;-)

luvblues2

Since you are obviously online Ms.Psych101, try reading and looking at something a tad more intelligent than a freakin' TV reality show. I could give you many links to search and go through, that would enable your mind to go further possibilities, than what "Snookie" did last night.

Ms.Psych101

luvblues2, fortunately for ME I am quite well rounded. Meaning that, I do much MORE than watch reality television. I do that on my "off-time". The fact of the matter is this, you can say what you want to say, but yet and still you are making YOURSELF seem more and more ignorant. Let me tell you this much, I do not need any links from you as far as MORE INTELLIGENT material, I personally at this point am about to receive MY degree in psychology at the end of this month, THEN will begin working on my degree in human services thereafter, SO, therefore, what YOU have to say sir/madam about what I or anyone else does, for that matter, really is pointless, and lacks any real merit! ;-)

phroggy

Yeah but hammers have a purpose in their existence.

mikel

thanks to uncle barack for giving us gov't money to live on!

Ms.Psych101

What does this have to do with the price of coffee? Made no sense at all, seriously!

deertracker

I don't watch reality tv either or the WWE. Get a life mikey!!!!!!

Randy_Marsh

I enjoyed that series "The walking dead". Nothing like watching a group of brainless drones chanting their support for a failed president.....Oh wait a minute i was just informed that was the DNC national convention, No wonder the season was so short. HA!

mikel

do you know of any 16 year old that is/was pregnant and did NOT receive gov't tax dollars? people really need to take responsibility for their kids!

deertracker

Yes I do since you asked. She had the child and the kid graduated from SMCC. Yes, her parents helped her and now they are both hard working law abiding citizens. You guys always stray from the actual topic. You act as if you would not have to pay taxes if young girls did not get pregnant. It takes boys or men to get them that way you know. Yes, I am an Obama supporter.....so what!!! I work for a living....do you? You cons are ridiculous. Just ridiculous!

mikel

yeah! you know one person and her family.

IFONLY....

I was one of those pregant teen's that didn't receive any government assistance. I worked full time went to school and raised my child. Graduated with a 3.598. It can be done!!!!

starryeyes83

It can be , but many many don't...you're an exception not the rule.

czechurself

You must be 18 years of age or older to apply for government assistance. Until then you are still considered a minor and your parents are your legal guardians.

Perkins2060

Obama supporters no doubt.

Obama uses MTV to draw young viewers to speech.

During the broadcast of the MTV Movie Awards, the Obama campaign ran an official ad imploring the network’s viewers to watch President Obama deliver his closing remarks at the Democratic National Convention after the awards ceremony’s completion.

Obama's constituents, the young, naive, gullible, outright stupid, and taxpayer parasites. They pay no Federal income taxes and don't even know the difference between inflation and stagflation. Sad.

mikel

i like this statement!

deertracker

So they are young, gullible, naive and stupid yet you are a viewer. What does that make you?

rickross2

A taxpayer

@ deertracker,

I don't watch MTV and I didn't vote for obumer, so that makes me smarter than you.

unjudgemental

Some teen mothers have their children, work and put themselves through school to provide a nice life for themselves and their children. Don't group teen pregnancy with underage foolishness, stupid is as stupid does. Such as, judging others ...

mikel

so, she must be a poster child right???

@ unjudgemental

Did you know that 4 in 10 teen girls in the US will get pregnant at least once before age 20? That's about 745,000 teen pregnancies each year.

rickross2

According to unjudgemental thats 744,999 new welfare recipients
