The latest trick by our Democrats in Congress and their union buddies is the Workers' Free Choice Act.

The bill changes the current way of unionizing a company, which is just fine to me, of getting signatures of interest, showing them to the business, then asking the business to recognize the union or put it to a secret ballet vote just in case the buisness thinks there was pressure to get the signatures and the workers really want them.

The new way of is to have people sign the cards, and then a union is put in. The secret ballot vote is taken away and destroyed, so your choice to be in a union can no longer be secret but is up front and personal with a union boss or a pushy co-worker pressuring you into signing a card. As a person who once started a union vote and been part of a union organization attempt, I have seen the pressure that is put on people to sign a card. It does and will happen when this act gets passed. What scares me the most is the Democrats don't care the secret ballet is gone and the dictator way of looking at your vote or choice is being put in.

And for those Democrats and pro-union people that don't see a problem with this, let's try it this way: Let's say in 2010 the Republicans take back the House and Senate and pass the "Voters' Free Choice Act" to save money on elections and prevent us from a year-and-a-half presidential run again. The act would say that all a person has to do is get 50.1 percent of registered voters to sign a card before June 2012 and they will be the next president and we will not vote in November. One more thing, only the Republican party is allowed to get signatures.
