SANDUSKY

Billy Spencer is battling cancer, but he hasn't been forgotten by his friends at AutoZone or the Sit It Low Car Club.

A benefit spaghetti dinner to aid Spencer and his family has been scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 17 at Sandusky High School.

To help draw a crowd to the event, Sit It Low is organizing a "Billy Spencer Benefit Cruise" to caravan down to the high school.

Everyone will meet at the Jackson Street pier in downtown Sandusky at about 4 p.m. Feb. 17, with the cruise to the high school beginning at about 4:45 p.m. Local law enforcement will help with the cruise.

The cruise is not limited to custom vehicles. Any vehicle may join the cruise to show support for Billy Spencer.

Sit It Low also is taking donations to help him.
