The fire started at about 2 p.m. in the plant's coating machine. CertainTeed manufactures roofing shingles and products.

Ed Miller, manager of human resources, said the 70 employees working Friday were evacuated as a precaution. Though the plant's first response team was able to put the fire out, the fire department was called as a precaution.

Workers waited in the parking lot of the plant at the Ohio turnpike and U.S. 250 Friday afternoon for the all clear from the fire department to return to work.

How often does this place have a fire? It seems to me they have one about once every three to four years? Is that about it?

More like every 3 or 4 months!
