The city unveiled its new Web site this week.
The site has most of the same options and links, but it's easier to navigate, said Kelly Kresser, the city's administrative assistant.
Pabodie Design Studio, a company in Huron, designed the new site.
"We just wanted something that was a little more catchy, something a little more user-friendly," Kresser said. "This one definitely is."
Kresser said the switch was also a "house cleaning that you have with any Web site."
Like anything else, she said, a Web site needs occasional updates and maintenance. The city's Web site hadn't been updated since 2005.
Kresser said the whole project cost $1,000. The city has a small Web maintenance fund for such problems -- $520 was budgeted in 2007 and 2008, and the city did not use all the funds from 2007.
