A dusting of snow left area roads slippery Friday afternoon, but traffic problems appeared to be minimal.

Late Friday night, most local law enforcement officials described roads as "slick but passable."

The Sandusky County Sheriff's office remained under a level 2 snow emergency Friday night. Other agencies in Erie, Huron and Ottawa counties reported only minor slide-offs and responded to calls of roads in ditches.

But more snow is likely coming. Meteorologists predicted snowfall ranging from 5 to 10 inches through today.
