The NCAA presented its side of the story Thursday in Erie County Common Pleas Court where Andy Oliver, a pitching standout at Oklahoma State University and Vermilion High School graduate, is suing the NCAA to have his eligibility restored.

Kevin Lennon, vice president of membership services for the NCAA, testified that laws regarding agents are in place to help the NCAA maintain a level playing field for all of its universities. He said if Tone were to invalidate the rule in Ohio, it would basically "gut the agent rule."
