MONROEVILLE

Scott Miller was sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in jail for siphoning money away from the Monroeville Athletic Boosters.

The 46-year-old construction business owner spoke softly as he addressed the court during his sentencing hearing.

"I apologize deeply for what I've done to the school board, the Boosters, my family," he said. "And I didn't intend to hurt anybody. It was a terrible mistake."
