SANDUSKY

Edda and John Kaiser had no idea what was in store for them Friday night as they left a local watering hole.

They were walking to their car after hanging out with friends at Jimmy's Club, Monroe and Pearl streets, when three men came up behind them at 10:46 p.m. on the 600 block of Pearl Street.

"They said, 'Boo,' and we jumped and thought they were kids just joking around," Edda Kaiser said.

They weren't joking.

"Then one said, 'I'm going to make your day' or something," Edda said. "My husband said, 'What do you want, punk?' and one kid said, 'I'll show you a punk,' and shoved a gun in his face."
