HURON COUNTY

U.S. 250 will have intermittent single-lane closures of short duration as crews mobilize heavy hauling equipment for a railroad grade separation project. No major impacts to traffic are expected. Motorists are reminded to use caution when approaching the construction work zone. The project will construct an overpass over the CSX railroad crossing on a new roadway alignment. The project will also include the construction of a new bridge spanning the Vermilion River. Estimated end date is Oct. 30, 2009.

OTTAWA COUNTY

Through December 12, Ohio 163, between Maple Street and Harvest Lane in Oak Harbor, will be closed for sewer repair. Detour: Ohio 19; Ohio 2; Ohio 358. While the permanent work zone restrictions remain in place, work is suspended over the holiday. Contact the Village of Oak Harbor for more information. Estimated end date is Dec. 12.

SANDUSKY COUNTY

U.S. 20 is being widened from two lanes to five from Busch Street in Woodville to Bradner Road. Lane widths in both directions are restricted to 11 feet throughout the construction zone. One lane will be maintained at all times. Through October 2009, Bradner Road south of U.S. 20 will be closed. Detour: Pemberville Road. All work is weather permitting. Estimated end date is Nov. 30, 2009.
