Plenty of angels live among us -- but because they don't look like the porcelain figure atop the Christmas tree, they often go unnoticed.

That's why the Salvation Army is making their needs known with a special kind of evergreen.

Angel Trees are sprouting throughout the community this week and will remain up through Dec. 10.
