Several people were injured in a two-car crash that occurred earlier this evening in Perkins Township.

The driver, Adeline Keefe, 41, 5403 Maple Ave., Castalia, was driving a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am southbound on Old Railroad Road. Keefe stopped at the stop sign and failed to yield to the driver of a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup truck, which was eastbound on Bogart Road.

Keefe and her two daughters, who were passengers, were taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center.

She was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.

The driver of the pickup, Lino Venerucci, 59, 315 50th St., Sandusky, was treated at the scene for injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sandusky Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
