SANDUSKY

The man accused of seriously injuring a popular martial arts teacher in a hit-and-run crash last month pleaded not guilty Friday in Erie County Common Pleas Court to aggravated vehicular assault.

Police say Shawn Caston, 42, left Mark Norcross, 35, in the street after in a hit-and-run crash in the early morning hours of Sept. 23. Caston also faces charges of tampering with evidence and leaving the scene of an accident.
