SANDUSKY

The Sandusky Library will celebrate Home Movie Day on Saturday, giving locals a chance to relive the past and learn how to preserve it for future generations.

Ron Davidson, the archives librarian, will play home movies from Sandusky -- specifically from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s -- submitted by any residents who wish to view their old films.

Anyone can submit home movies at any time on Friday or Saturday morning between 9 a.m.-noon, and library personnel will give tips about storage, preservation and how to transfer those old films onto DVDs.

At 2 p.m., the films will be shown in the Library Program Room.
