SANDUSKY

The president of the Mills Elementary School PTO faces a felony theft charge for stealing an undisclosed amount of money from the organization, Sandusky police said.

Mary Thatcher, 40, surrendered to police Friday, Sgt. John Orzech said. Orzech said Thatcher stole more than $500, but police are still investigating to determine the total amount.
