America, one of the wealthiest countries in the world is rated a "C" average in anti terrorism. This is based on a bi-partisan group of experts. This is not meant to scare you but I believe that we need to do something about this. We are AMERICA the greatest country in the world and we cannot afford to pay for our own safety. I believe that we need to stop spending money on useless things such as the space agencies and the war in Iraq. We need to start to think about what we need to do in order to protect ourselves. The article I read can be found on nytimes.com. We need people in this country to stand up and try to figure this out.

This problem in my view has not been talked about enough in the presidential candidates' speeches. I do agree the economy is doing very bad right now but if we cannot protect our own country then we will not have an economy to protect. The article does say that we have improved our efforts in anti-terrorism after 9/11. This makes me sick because that must mean we have had worse than a "C" in this category before 9/11. The government just needs to protect us and I will be happy.
