It upsets me that politicians claim to be of a particular religion to gain support and then do not uphold the standards of their religion. Abortion is the largest scandal in our society today and is the "slavery" of our century.

As a Christian, I know that life is sacred from conception to death and no one has the right to take that away. However, abortion is not just a religious issue, it is also an issue of ethics. Murder is not illegal because it is against most religions, rather it is illegal because murdering someone is ethically wrong! This is why politicians need to stop using the excuse that they cannot force their beliefs onto others. Instead they need to save these innocent children's lives before it is too late.

More than 35 million humans have been murdered by abortions since 1973 and the death toll is rising every moment. As a young person who cannot yet vote, I implore you to be the voice of the unborn and vote for politicians who will work to bring this atrocity to an end. All I can ask and pray is that you will vote with your conscience and your morals during this election.
