An amphibious LARC, the U.S. Army's successor to the DUKW of World War II fame, makes its way through Sandusky on Monroe Street Friday evening on its way to the third annual historical weekend 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday at the Ohio Veterans Home.

The event is hosted by the Firelands Military Vehicle group and the Ohio Military Heritage Association.
