I agree with the recent letter from Dr. James Wysor in which he expressed dismay at the Register's humiliating term "Dr. Feelgood" in reference to Dr. Mohan Chandran.
I was a patient of Dr. Chandran before and after he suffered a stroke. I found him to be compassionate to my discomfort, attentive to my concerns, and persistent in addressing my pain. He started me on the right path of treatment, and because of him, I no longer suffer the daily headaches that I had experienced for many years.
I, like Dr. Wysor, cannot condone the actions for which Dr. Chandran is accused, but I attribute my relief to the treatment that Dr. Chandran initiated. For that I am truly grateful, and I would like publicly to express my gratitude to him.
