Mark Harman, a former deputy accused of stealing from the Sandusky County Sheriff's office, has been given more time to discuss a possible plea agreement with prosecutors.

At a hearing Monday afternoon, visiting Judge Michael Kelbley of Seneca County set a second pre-trial for 10 a.m. Oct. 24.

Police charged Harman with felony counts of theft and theft in office for allegedly trying to return money he took from the sheriff's civil office during a three-year period.
