The man blamed in the January car crash that killed a Sandusky couple avoided jail time.

Danny F. Perrine, 51, Curtice, faced two counts of vehicular manslaughter in the Jan. 11 deaths of Melvin Johnson, 83, and JoAnn Johnson, 75.

The Johnsons were celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary the day of the accident. They were on their way home from a woodworking tool show in Wayne County when the crash occurred.
