SANDUSKY

Some local faces appear within the pages of Time magazine this week.

An advertisement recognizes the owners of Kasper Toyota Scion in Sandusky for their commitment to children’s charities.

Bryan and Emily Kasper became involved with Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland and the March of Dimes after their son Carson was born six years ago with his internal organs outside his chest cavity. He required several surgeries to correct that critical situation and tracheal abnormalities.

Toyota honored the Kaspers in a two-page spread in the Sept. 8 issue.

“It was actually very unexpected. I’m proud to be in Time magazine. We’re tickled to be in it,” Bryan Kasper said.

He was a chairman for the March for Babies fund-raiser, and his dealership was honored for its number of participants and donations.

Kasper Toyota has also received the Toyota President’s Award for outstanding quality, sales and customer service.
