PERKINS TWP.

Robb Parthemore wanted a "career."

In 1990, unsatisfied with a gig in the carpentry field, Parthemore realized he needed to get into a different line of work.

Around that time, former Perkins police Chief Richard Burrows started a reserve program. The program provided civilians a chance to go on ride-alongs with cops and see what the job was like. Parthemore decided to sign up, and he liked what he saw.
