SANDUSKY

A toddler is recovering after falling from the second-story window of a Sandusky home Friday morning.

Destiny Bettis, 2, was taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center from her home on the 1000 block of W. Market St. after police officers and emergency personnel responded to the scene at about 9:45 a.m.

A hospital spokeswoman said Friday evening that the girl was released, but would not comment on her condition or where she was taken.

The girl's mother, Ashley L. Bettis, told police she was in the kitchen doing dishes when her son Gabe, 4, came in crying, according to police reports.
