LORAIN

The body of a Cleveland firefighter who went missing in Lake Erie more than a week ago has been located.

A fisherman found the body of Kenneth Alderman, 44, floating about five miles north of Lorain just after 10 a.m. Monday, said John Wisse, a spokesman for the ODNR Division of Watercraft.

Alderman was aboard a 30-foot recreational boat just before he disappeared in the water July 19 about two miles east of the Sandusky breakwall, officials said.
