In a move that will eliminate 65 area jobs, a Milan manufacturing plant announced today it’s moving a portion of its operations to Mexico.
Tenneco’s regional plant manager Steve Grilly said he regrets the decision, but expects the move to strengthen the competitiveness of the company’s elastomer business in North America.
“It has been tough to make an announcement like this for the second time in almost two years,” he said. “We sincerely regret the impact that this announcement will have on our dedicated employees and their families.”
