HURON

A Huron police dispatcher has found himself on the wrong side of the law.

David Michel, a long-time dispatcher, resigned last week after he admitted stealing $5,200 of municipal funds. Michel was pocketing cash he collected as fees for fingerprinting services provided by the Huron Police Department, police chief Randy Glovinsky said.
