Wednesday, July 2

3:35 a.m. -- 7500 Wahl Road, Vickery., Lee A. Hoffer, 26, same address, charged with felonious assault. Bryan Hoffer, 48, issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

12:03 a.m. -- 11300 block of U.S. 250, hotel guests reported theft of prescription pills.

Thursday, July 3

9:38 a.m. -- Report of copper pipe cut out of basement of vacant house, 2500 block of Tiffin Avenue.

10:37 a.m. -- 7500 block of Darrow Road, Huron, vandalism to vehicle.

5 p.m. -- William Stevens, 30, 422 E. Washington St., charged with four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, all third-degree felony offenses, and interference with custody, a fifth-degree felony offense. Stevens was taken to the Erie County Sheriff's Office and released the same day on a $45,000 bond.

9:30 p.m. -- Dining and Deyo Roads, Castalia, Derek D. Graves, 18, 7306 Parker Road, Castalia, charged with failure to comply/fleeing and cited with a traffic offense. A second person at the same address was also charged with failure to comply and fleeing and was cited with a traffic offense.

8:53 p.m. -- 4900 block of Cleveland Road E., Huron, Scott J. Schmigel, cited for operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement or learner"s permit.

11:27 a.m. -- Andrew P. Nason, 24, 300 Howard St., Bellevue, served with warrant.

1:39 p.m. -- 6400 block of Milan Road, Warren J. Reinhard, 44, Rocky River, cited for changing lanes without caution

11:42 p.m. -- Ohio 2 and U.S. 250, Charles D. Scaff, 19, 941 Douglas St., Vermilion, charged with drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage consumption

12:45 a.m. -- Strub and Old Railroad roads, Eric B. Berg, 29, 4015 Ohio 269, Castalia, charged with disorderly conduct.

1:19 a.m. -- 5200 block of Milan Road, Mark J. Duranczyk, 47, cited for speeding.

3:12 a.m. -- Pioneer Trail and Perkins Avenue, Letha Fisher, 31, 1012 Pierce St., cited for driving under suspension; Demetria L. Caffey, 26, 2614 Pioneer Trail, arrested on bench warrant and outstanding fines.

3:46 a.m. -- Sadler and Farwell streets, Zachary J. Mesenburg, 24, 95 Woodlawn Ave., Norwalk, charged with driving under suspension and operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

5:13 a.m. -- Ohio 269 and 101, Patrick Ringle, 20, Oxbo Road, Castalia, arrested on bench warrant.

9:55 a.m. -- Vandaliism to vehicle, 3300 block of Milan Road.

10:19 a.m. -- 4700 block of Milan Road, juvenile cited for failing to stop in assured clear distance ahead

9:07 a.m. -- Lawn mower reported stolen, 2100 block of Milan Road.

10:48 a.m. -- Theft of wallet and three CDs, 900 block of Columbus Avenue.

6:59 p.m. -- Fireworks complaint, 600 block of Superior St., resident warned.

8:17 p.m. -- Window shot with BB or pellet gun, 400 block of East Washington St.

8:44 p.m. -- Fireworks seized, Harrison and Jefferson streets.

11:36 p.m. -- Fireworks seized, 1900 block of Cleveland road.
