SANDUSKY

A grieving Berlin Heights couple is suing local auto dealer Phil Steinle Jr. over a Sandusky Bay boating accident that killed her son more than a week ago.

Steinle piloted the 41-foot Formula boat involved in a collision June 15 with a 21-foot Sea Ray boat driven by Ben Miller, 21. Miller was thrown overboard and died from blunt force trauma, a preliminary autopsy found.

His parents, Deborah and Stephen Miller, 5000 block Ohio 113, are asking for more than $25,000 and a jury trial.

Read about the allegations against Steinle in Saturday's Register.
