Seven Michigan teenagers hoping to go to Cedar Point on Thursday morning were instead taken to area hospitals after their minivan drove off the Ohio Turnpike exit ramp near Ohio 4, flipping over several times.
Two occupants of the van were taken from the scene by ambulance. Another was flown to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. The remaining passengers also left in ambulances, but had minor injuries, said Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Sgt. Tom Curran.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, he said.
