SANDUSKY

The smell of gunpowder and flying cartridge casings were in the air Tuesday morning when a handful of teenagers got a first-hand taste of what it's like to be a police officer.

A group of students tested their skills at the Sandusky Police Department firing range. They are members of the first Police Youth Academy.
