High winds cause trees to go timber

The purple clouds were a dead giveaway that a bad storm was brewing.

Millie Shepherd said it was unlike anything she has ever seen.

"The sky looked really funny ... It wasn't black clouds, it was purple," she said. "I thought, with a purple sky, you're going to get some bad weather. And we did."
