City commissioners met behind closed doors Wednesday to discuss police department personnel, but the status of the police chief remains unsettled.

City manager Matt Kline has scheduled a "pre-disciplinary meeting" with Chief Kim Nuesse at noon Monday.

Meanwhile, the city has made no contact with the Ohio Attorney General's office, despite the commission's unanimous vote May 12 to request that the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance work in conjunction with the attorney general's office to conduct an inquiry into the motives and procedures of the investigation into Nuesse and the police department.
