CLYDE

A 14-year-old Clyde boy, convicted of kidnapping a classmate, will not go to jail.

The teen is one of four 14-year-olds involved in the rape of a 14-year-old girl in January.

He was sentenced to probation until further notice during a hearing Friday at the Sandusky County Juvenile Court.

Sandusky County Probate/Juvenile Judge Brad Culbert suspended all jail time for the youth, who also pleaded guilty to breaking and entering at Green Springs Elementary School in July.
