With gas nearing the $4-per-gallon mark, Perkins Township trustees are exploring the option of selling some of the police department's seven sport utility vehicles.

"We've got to start cutting fuel costs and these SUVs are atrocious on fuel," trustees chairman Bill Dwelle said.
