GROTON TWP.

Erie County commissioners are worried about whether wells in Groton Township have been contaminated by recent flooding, so they are offering a temporary price break for township residents to tap into the county's water lines.

From May 15 to July 15, the fee for a water tap for a 1-inch line into the county's water lines will be $1,000 for Groton Township residents, about half the usual cost.
