SANDUSKY

In between wiping away tears, Bonnie Crisp placed a comforting hand on herhusband's back.

Moments later the couple was convicted of stealing thousands of dollars from the local Salvation Army post.

Bonnie, 54, and Matthew Crisp, 55, each pleaded no contest to aggravated theft Monday morning in Erie County Common Pleas Court.

Presiding Judge Beverly McGookey told the couple by pleading no contest they were allowing the court to convict them. The couple nodded their heads in agreement.
