The Village of Milan wants atwo-way discussion on plans to replace a U.S. 250 bridge withanother two-lane structure.

Last week, the village sent letters asking state leadership to intervene in ODOT's plan to replace the two-lane Rattlesnake Creek bridge on U.S. 250 along Milan's southern border with another two-lane bridge.

Village officials contend that a two-lane bridge will not meet the growing needs of the area, and the bridge should instead be replaced with a four-lane structure.
