SANDUSKY

Charges were dismissed Wednesday in Sandusky Municipal Court against a pilot and his girlfriend accused of having an airplane fly directly over a Perkins High School football game last fall.

In October 2007, Daniel Lake piloted the aircraft in an attempt to motivate the team, according to reports.

Instead he was charged with inducing panic, along with girlfriend, Diane Mulvin, who was charged with complicity to inducing panic.

Police said the flyby caused a stir. The judge didn't agree.
