Results of a recent survey affirmed what many coaster enthusiasts have known all along.

Three of Cedar Point's roller coasters were rated among the top in the nation in a survey conducted by the National Amusement Park Historical Association, an enthusiasts' organization dedicated to preserving and documenting the heritage of the amusement park industry.

The association named Maverick the No. 1 Best New Attraction and ranked Millennium Force first in the category of Favorite Steel Roller Coaster, followed by Magnum XL-200, which ranked third among steel coasters.
