In regard to the April 6 article in the Sandusky Register: "For $100 and the right words, this could be yours": To the people who did not see this story, it features a beautiful home on Deerpath Drive in Perkins Township, which Ms. Frisch is hoping to receive 5,000 essays, 500 words or less with a story on what they would do if they won the essay contest and therefore win the home for a $100.00 fee; and if she does not raise the 5,000 essays, the $100.00 will be returned to the writers. One-Hundred Dollars for a home really opens a lot of people's eyes.
There was a follow-up article stating something to the effect that people were calling it a scam. I believe in you, Pam Frisch, as I have heard great things about you and I would never in a million years believe that you would scam anyone.
My personal thought is that the neighbors surrounding her Deerpath home might be a little bit leery of who will win the essay story contest -- that is a beautiful area and it's known for the high-class people and whoever is complaining, I believe is complaining because they don't want some kind of a vagabond or whoever move next door -- that's just my personal opinion. I believe whoever wins this contest (and I hope you receive all 5,000 essays by May 31) really needs a home, has great necessary reasons for the home and has a really heartfelt, truthful, sincere story. I'm pulling for you. Good Luck!
