SANDUSKY

Two people have been arrested in connection with the suspicious death of a Sandusky man.

Thomas M. Campbell Sr., 59, died Jan. 12 the day after he visited a Castalia home and tumbled down a flight of stairs. Police initially thought he fell down the stairs and the death was accidental, but a coroner ruled the case a homicide.

On Thursday, John Brownell and Terra L. Blanton, both of Sandusky, turned themselves in at the Erie County jail.

Brownell, 44, 600 block of Bennett Ave., is charged with reckless homicide and tampering with evidence. Blanton, 34, same address, is charged with obstructing justice and tampering with evidence.
