Retired Sandusky firefighter Brian Crandall will soon resign form the Sandusky City Commission.
“I made the decision that I just can’t continue,” Crandall told a Lorain County newspaper.
Crandall told the newspaper if he knew in 2005 what he knows now he would not have run for the commission.
There is a for sale sign in the front yard of Crandall’s Garfield Street home. City manager Matt Kline said Tuesday that Crandall is interested in house in Huron.
Crandall, who conducted an investigation of the Police Department earlier this year and was one of three commissioners who participated in an interrogation of police Chief Kim Nuesse shortly before she was put on paid leave, did not return calls from the Register on Tuseday.
