Gutter balls aren’t so bad when they’re for a good cause.
Area residents and businesses turned out to show their support Sunday for the 12th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake.
Executive director Amy Roldan said the event serves as the organization’s largest fundraiser, but also helps to get the word out about Big Brothers Big Sisters.
“It’s a good way for people to get involved and get an awareness for what we do,” she said. “We hope to walk away with a few more big brothers and big sisters.”
