It's a memory the renowned performer says will always be with her, no matter how far she travels.
Next month the woman whose family legacy inspired "The Sound of Music" said she hopes to invoke the same serene images as she sings for a Sandusky audience at the First Presbyterian Church, 265 Jackson St.
Tickets go on sale Monday for the May 8 and 9 fundraising concerts featuring von Trapp, the granddaughter of Maria and Georg von Trapp.
