Old habits die hard.
That's the case for Andre G. Hammonds. He's been sentenced a second time for breaking into Erie County homes.
Hammonds, 42, dubbed the daylight burglar, pleaded guilty to 17 counts of burglary Monday in Erie County Common Pleas Court.
He faced up to 136 years in prison for the felony charges.
As part of a plea deal,Hammonds will only serve nine years.
"I really am sorry for everything that I've done," he told presiding Judge Roger Binette. "I messed up."
