The rain fell in Groton Township, and then the tears came.
Lenora Adams, 70, said she has watched as several of her neighbors on Ohio 269 tearfully bid farewell to their homes of many years, forced out by the constant flooding.
"My neighbors have already moved out because their basements were completely flooded out to the rafters," Adams said. "They just packed everything and moved."
